{"id":5840,"date":"2022-12-21T00:00:15","date_gmt":"2022-12-21T00:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clearcourse.co.uk\/staging\/?p=5840"},"modified":"2025-10-01T07:41:52","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T07:41:52","slug":"tissl-epos-and-lpm-the-taste-of-hospitality-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clearcourse.co.uk\/staging\/tissl-epos-and-lpm-the-taste-of-hospitality-success\/","title":{"rendered":"TISSL EPOS and LPM: The taste of hospitality success"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Hospitality EPOS brand TISSL has been working with LPM Restaurant and Bar for a number of years \u2013 but the hospitality business needed more functionality and tried other providers.<\/li>\n<li>In the meantime, TISSL launched its own brand new cloud-based platform.<\/li>\n<li>LPM hadn\u2019t found a satisfactory solution, and due to the strong relationship it had with TISSL, it trialled the new TISSL EPOS \u2013 and it\u2019s now been rolled out globally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Occasionally, in business and in life, a little time apart is called for. Maybe two parties are heading in different directions; maybe they\u2019re moving at different speeds.<\/p>\n<p>In the software business, sometimes it\u2019s a case of the organisation using the software needing more functionality than the platform can currently provide. This was the case with <a class=\"block-link\" href=\"https:\/\/lpmrestaurants.com\/london\/\" target=\"_blank\">LPM Restaurant and Bar<\/a><\/a>, the global restaurant chain that had been a customer of ClearCourse\u2019s hospitality EPOS brand <a class=\"block-link\" href=\"https:\/\/tissl.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">TISSL<\/a><\/a> for a number of years.<\/p>\n<p>While LPM loved and valued the customer service the TISSL team provided, it had outgrown the platform TISSL was then offering, and in 2018 moved on to pastures new.<\/p>\n<p>In the background, however, TISSL was busy working on a whole new proposition to offer its clients \u2013 a cloud-based solution of its own, rather than the legacy platform the business was reselling \u2013 and a few months later, it launched its brand new EPOS solution.<\/p>\n<p>It had been built from the ground up, bringing together the team\u2019s decades of experience to create a solution that was purpose-built for restaurants of today \u2013 not 20 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The platform acts as the technical heartbeat of a restaurant, connecting everything from stock to reservations, in one place.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward a couple of years; the new TISSL EPOS solution had evolved and matured, and LPM hadn\u2019t quite found the long-term solution it was seeking&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lirp.cdn-website.com\/1df79318\/dms3rep\/multi\/opt\/LPM1-1920w.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1280\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-6884\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>A new chapter for TISSL\u2019s hospitality EPOS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The TISSL team had maintained its strong relationship with the LPM team, and it was agreed to trial the hardware-agnostic TISSL EPOS in the business\u2019s new Saudi Arabia site.<\/p>\n<p>The team at LPM found the new solution offered everything they needed and more, and so introduced TISSL into its London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong restaurants too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI was introduced to TISSL 10 years ago, and after we left, we worked with a number of other products,\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>says Despot Milivojevic, General Manager at LPM Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI must say, with TISSL \u2013 and especially the new cloud-based product \u2013 I found simplicity in the front and back office. Then, of course, there\u2019s the amazing support team, who are ready to help and support at all times.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With TISSL EPOS now controlled and guided entirely by the business, the in-house development team can evolve it continually based on the changing needs of the hospitality sector.<\/p>\n<p>For LPM to introduce it to its Miami site, for example, an update was needed to work with the US tax system, which the TISSL team is currently working to facilitate.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Successful tech businesses are about more than just the software<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Here at ClearCourse, we love hearing and sharing stories of the difference our brands can make for businesses.
