Software and Payments Specialist ClearCourse Acquires Retail EPOS Solutions Provider CSY

London, 4 September 2024 – ClearCourse, a leading provider of industry-specific software and embedded payment solutions for SMEs and targeted enterprises, announces the acquisition of CSY Retail Systems (“CSY”), an innovative electronic-point-of-sale (“EPOS”) provider for retail businesses in the UK. Following the acquisition, CSY will become part of the ClearCourse Retail & Hospitality division, significantly strengthening the group’s integrated offering in this sector. 

 

Based in Nottingham, CSY has been a provider of retail EPOS technology in the UK for over 30 years. A leader in the UK retail software space, the company serves hundreds of customers and provides terminals to retail sites nationwide including garden centres, farm shops, pharmacies and DIY stores. CSY’s solutions support instore and online trading for their customers which include Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, Blue Diamond and Tile Giant.

London, 7 February 2024 – ClearCourse, a leading provider of industry-specific software and embedded payments for SMEs and targeted enterprises, announces the acquisition of ThinkSmart Software (“ThinkSmart”), an independent software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) provider delivering an innovative technology for businesses that offer clubs and classes in the UK and Australia as well as other global markets. This strategic acquisition will be integrated as part of ClearCourse’s growing Business Services division. Founded in 2008, ThinkSmart is a scheduling and customer management platform for businesses that conduct classes and take bookings.
